The Argyle High School Band 2011 Field Show “Transcend”

This year’s show, Transcend, inspires us to surpass our past experiences and go beyond the limits of material experience.   Transcend features the music of John Mackey, “Aurora Awakes”; Steven Bryant, “Hummingbird”; Eric Whitaker, “Lux Aurumque”; and Mark Higginbotham “Transcend”.  Featured soloists are Rhiannon Mohar on Flute, Kara Peak on Oboe, Trey Torno on Clarinet, Aimee Kline on Alto Saxophone, and Marshal Stiles on Mellophone.


Mission:

THE ARGYLE HIGH SCHOOL BAND STRIVES TO PROVIDE ITS MEMBERS WITH A FAMILY ENVIRONMENT THROUGH TEAMWORK, ENCOURAGEMENT, SPIRIT, AND FUN. THIS DISPLAY OF ESPRIT DE CORPS WILL HELP FACILITATE US IN ACHIEVING OUR GOALS WHILE REASSURING THE COMMUNITY OF OUR UNWAVERING PRIDE AND DETERMINED COMMITMENT.
